too narrow for socializing, but the fresh air is at a premium in manhattan

maybe not full central park views from everywhere, but the access and the general views are still excellent. (including some park views) the fencing might be slightly unusual in pictures, but not much of a distraction in person.

the stairs might be a tad narrow for a large dining table, but it's still perfectly showcases why terraces are so desired. with the heating lamps and to retractable shades, one can easily see it as an outdoor living room and although the views are not fantastic, they are certainly dramatic.

although the quality of the craftsmanship is not very high. some effort was put in to make this terrace enjoyable, with a pergola providing a beautiful spot to sit and taking in dramatic views.

decent sized terrace nicely tucked in the building. this will be crucial for making it usable as the wind can wreak havoc at this elevation in the middle of midtown.

at 10 feet wide and over 30 ft long there is not much one cannot do for al fresco enjoyment, the views are perfect pleasant, although not stunning.

excellent execution of an uptown direct roof terrace, with decent views from every direction. making it exceptional is the versatility with a flush pool on one side and a fireplace lounge on the other.

too small for hosting events, but the intimacy of the the "courtyard" feel makes this a great spot for relaxation and reading a book.
