although the quality of the craftsmanship is not very high. some effort was put in to make this terrace enjoyable, with a pergola providing a beautiful spot to sit and taking in dramatic views.

this is a living level terrace with spectacular proportions and rare connectivity. while the 18th-floor views on 53rd street won't win awards, the "access from everywhere" layout is a functional triumph. it’s less about the skyline and more about the seamless flow, making it a unique outdoor extension of the home.

seventeen feet of width on a roof access terrace is legitimately generous, and someone has actually used it. the cedar slat fencing creates real privacy where neighbors might otherwise peer in, and those arborvitae are a few seasons along. a proper six-seat dinner works here, with the midtown skyline doing background duty. west-facing means summer sunsets are the main event.
